When I was married and living amidst my large in-laws’ family, my father met with an accident and became ill, I lost a brother in another gruesome accident and my youngest brother was still a student. As a daughter I not for a moment found myself helpless or thought, “what can I do for them, I am married and have a family”. Instead I said to myself I have to chip in and play the part. I brought my parents close to me to give them a sense of security till my young brother became independent.My husband and I told his parents, “It is our responsibility to hold hands at this time of grief and crisis”, His parents also joined hands and we became one large family emotionally supporting each other. If a daughter begins to think and take as much responsibility as a son, she magnetises people and existence enables it for her favourably.
